How's everyone doing? I let myself have a Mother's Day cheat weekend. But not terribly extreme. Considering I've been pretty hardcore about the diet, I was really happy to down a hotdog and popcorn while watching Water For Elephants, all alone, sans kids, in a dark theater. There might have been Diet Coke involved... I'm down more than 5 pounds, so I wasn't going to beat myself up over it too much. :)
i must confess! I have just started this diet beginning of last week, and already i've been broken! Mother's Day was TOUGH!!! especially when your husband makes all your meals for you and gets sweets! BUT i am getting back on track (i did have a pb cup today...)
ReplyDeleteOn a better note, thank you thank you thank you for letting us know about Farm Fresh To You! i am in love! i just signed up and can't wait! I HATE going grocery shopping every week for veggies/fruit! this will be great! not only is it organic, but it will also get me to try and use vegetables and fruit i would not think to buy for myself at the store! Possibilities will be endless :-)
Watch out on Farm Fresh, though, because they send you CRAZY stuff if you don't comb through their lists and tell them what you don't want. I ended up with odd things I had never heard of, too many chard-type greens, and too much of things my husband hates. But I have to say I've never seen such gorgeous green onions in all my life. I didn't know green onions could look like that, and their strawberries were amazing! They made sure to bring me various stages of green avocados, which was great.
